SUPERBOWL OF HARDCORE 2006 ANNOUNCED
Black N Blue Productions Returns Legendary Event
New York, March 12, 2006 - Black N Blue Productions has announced the date and lineup for the 2006 Superbowl of Hardcore. This legendary event will take place on Sunday April 23rd at Club Spirit in Manhattan.
The lineup includes co-headliners Underdog and Vision of Disorder, with Killing Time, Crown Of Thornz, Shutdown, Indecision, District 9, Murphy's Law (halftime show), Kickback (France), Doomsday Device (O.B.H.C.), Do or Die (Brussels) and One Man Army (NJ).
According to co-producer, Freddy 'Madball' Cricien, "This is the second year we've presented the Superbowl; last year's event sold out, with over 1,300 attendees from all over the world. We're honored to bring the event back to New York and add international talent this year. Sales so far are great, in the first day alone, we sold over 200 tickets."
The Superbowl of Hardcore originally started in New York in the early 80s. Held at the legendary Ritz, it featured bands like Warzone, Agnostic Front, Sick of it All and Gorilla Biscuits, to name a few - all the forefathers of the renowned New York Hardcore movement. This event has returned, promising to keep the tradition alive.
Doors for the Matinee event are at 11 a.m. with a 10 p.m. curfew; Club Spirit is located at 530 W. 27th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues in Manhattan. The show is 18 and over, you must have valid ID and be 21 to drink. Disposable cameras only. Tickets are $22 in advance and $25 on the door.
