NEW YORK, October 25, 2006 -
Franky & Minx has appointed a new member to its board of directors, Jo Ann Jacobsen, designer and one of the founding partners for the popular youth brand, Mudd® and founding partner of the contemporary denim line, Paper, Denim & Cloth. Heidi Minx, president of Franky & Minx, Inc. made the announcement.

Minx notes, "We asked Jo Ann to be on the board because she is such a great person; she has been my mentor for years. Her own brand reflected so much of her personality, and innovative marketing - I'm happy she's going to be bringing her guidance to Franky & Minx."

"I've been watching Franky & Minx develop since its inception," Jacobsen says. "Watching an idea evolve into a brand is very exciting stuff. The passion with which Heidi approaches her brand brings back memories of when I started designing the Mudd line. Heidi leads a truly authentic rock and roll lifestyle and that's evident in her work - you can't fake that. I'm looking forward to seeing this brand grow."

In February '07, the Franky & Minx brand will be launching multiple categories with Spencer Gifts. Spencer's is supporting the lifestyle nature of the brand by making Minx their spokesperson, and dedicating a special section of their website to her, which will go live in early November, 2006.

Franky & Minx is a New York-based lifestyle brand, built around the tattoo designs of Elvis and Franky, and the custom styling of Heidi Minx. Both Elvis and Franky are internationally recognized tattoo artists; Minx is a pin-up model, stylist, and all around Muse - her custom stylings have been seen on top musicians like Bif Naked, and Avril Lavigne, and in magazines like Japanese Vogue. Their brand is a fun foray into the DIY rock and roll lifestyle. Started in response to the lack of authentic alternative brands on the market today, Franky & Minx does not fall into the confines of a limited niche market; it touches a wide audience that relates to the art, designs and personalities behind the brand. Licensees include Aquarius, Concept1, Freeze, Logotel, K&M Associates, Trends, WinPlus, 3E, American Greetings and MjC. The Franky & Minx brand is represented globally by CopCorp Licensing (www.copcorp.com). Learn more about Franky & Minx at www.frankyandminx.com.
