So, what did you do all day?
I'm on tour so I woke up on the highway moving 80 miles per hour, stopped for breakfast and ate with my band and crew, and then drove on to the Metro in Chicago where we will rock tonight.

What is the most expensive thing you've bought recently?
The Mac G4 Powerbook laptop I am writing this with right now.

Last concert (or show) you attended:
We played Detroit last night it was great. Bouncing Souls, Street Dogs, Whole Wheat Bread and the World Inferno Friendship Society

What is your best DIY tip?
Don't tour in a van, buy a 14 ft. diesel boxtruck (they're pretty affordable used) and convert it into an RV. Ours has 8 bunks and a lounge in back and we've put more than 300,000 miles on it since we bought it in '96.

What is one skill that you think all people should have?
To be considerate of the people and the world outside of yourself

Magnets from places I've been around the world

Cats or dogs?
I like dogs but living in NYC I'm more partial to having a cat in my apartment.

Fuck that shit

What is your favorite cartoon?
South Park, Aqua Teen Hunger Force (especially stoned)

What is your idea of a good vacation?
Cross-country trip my hog alone. I've done it twice and am planning on another run hopefully this coming summer.

What do you do when you can't fall asleep?
I try to quit my mind by focusing on just my breathing, it actually works.

If you could go back to school right now, what classes would you take?
More art classes

What question do you hate most in interviews?
Single favorite anything (song record etc.) It's impossible to answer.

Are there any covers you think are better than the original?
Umm... 99 Red Balloons by 7-Seconds, I'm sure there's more. Sailin On as done by Bad Brains...

What social cause is most important to you?
Our government's foreign policy, Bush may actually be the anti-Christ. Is that a social cause?

Last new artist that you listened to and really liked?
I really dig the Hold Steady from Brooklyn.

In which country do you wish you'd been born in?
USA, which I was born in.

What was the last free thing you've gotten?
Lots of cool Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and "swag", we just picked them up as a sponser. Fuck yeah!

Ever have those moments when you realize that you somehow just cheated death?
Very often, 120 mph on a bike totally high.
