SIPPIN' PRETTY, DRINK YOUR INK!
Franky & Minx Ink Deal with Jones Soda
NEW YORK, May 2, 2005 - Green Apple Soda and custom tattoo artwork collide in a pop culture explosion this summer as Jones Soda and Franky & Minx release a new series of custom-labeled pop! Jones has called on the design team Franky & Minx to create four labels for their hip drinks -- due out this summer. Matt Marini of Jones Soda and Heidi Minx of Franky & Minx, Inc made the announcement jointly.
Four labels, which mirror designs that are out in Franky & Minx apparel and accessories, will appear on the labels. 20,000 bottles of each design will be available at stores nationwide.
"The designs of Franky & Minx got our attention because of the unique combination of authentic art, fashion and style, found in today's alternative cultures and which shape pop culture as a whole," says Marini.
Minx notes, "We're stoked to do this with Jones. They're all about fun, music, and cool kitsch; their bottles become collector's items."
Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Jones Soda Co. manufactures its Jones Soda, Jones Naturals, Jones Energy and Whoopass brands and sells through its distribution network in select markets across North America. A leader in the premium soda category, Jones is known for its innovative labeling technique that incorporates always-changing photos sent in from its consumers. Jones Soda is sold through traditional beverage retailers and everywhere you'd never expect to find a soda.
