About

Franky & Minx started in Manhattan’s East Village in 2001.  Rooted in tattoo art and the music-fused lives of its founders, it became an international cult brand, eventually finding its way to major retailers.  The original line consisted of men’s and women’s apparel and footwear, bags, hats, scarves, jewelry, accessories, school supplies, leather goods, and housewares.  Along the way, Minx worked as a guest designer for Rat Fink Apparel and Whiteboy, and also co-branded products with Lamar Snowboards, Malaguti Motor Scooters, Jones Soda and Vision Shoes. Franky & Minx garnered an incredible following dedicated to the DIY ethos; from this, the online community of Punk Rock Domestics was born (and still lives 13 years later!)

The line ceased production in 2007 as Minx dedicated more time to political activism, awareness and journalism with her non-profit, Built On Respect.

Now, a decade later, it may just be time to get back to the roots.
